上山村在梅州市平远县热柘镇东部，下设10个村民小组，登记429户、1478人，面积14.4平方千米，耕地约800亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子四周是山，进出要翻岗，据博雅地名网所记，因此叫上山，别名“尚墡”。[1]1949年为上山乡，公社化的1958年成了大队，1983年恢复乡，此后依次改为村民委员会（1987年）、管理区（1989年），1999年起再称村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

种水稻、薯类、柑、金柚、桔和三华李。上一年农村经济总收入563.16万元。村里引资办起一家面枕材料公司，每年给集体带来1万元固定收入。[1]

荣誉[edit]

上山村在2019年9月被列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
