小柘村在梅州市平远县热柘镇北部，下设6个村民小组，登记375户、1480人，面积14.38平方千米，耕地约800亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的一种说法与柞树有关：大柘的柞树长得快，这里的长得慢而小，故叫小柘。[1]小柘与热水在明清时各为一堡，后合为热柘乡，见热柘镇条目。[2]1930年这里是五福乡，抗战时划为第四保。1958年成立小柘大队，今属东石镇的蕉留村当时由它管辖。1983年小柘与升平合为小柘乡，至1987年各自设村民委员会，1989年称管理区，1999年恢复村民委员会之称。[1]
经济[edit]
种水稻、薯、西瓜、金柚、李和柑。上一年农村经济总收入547.8万元。村里曾引进外资种植速生林，每年的管理费为集体带来1700元收入。[1]
