官仁村在长田圩镇一带，国道206线穿村而过。村内有10个村民小组，在册300户、1187人，面积7.8平方千米，耕地973亩。[1][2]

村民种优质稻和油茶，养羊、养猪；上一年农村经济总收入811万元。村里借助「广东新大地」的条件动员村民种油茶。[2]

地名由来与沿革[edit]

这里原住官姓人家，旧称「官人堂下」；官姓后来迁往仁居等地，由黄姓居住。民国年间改称「官仁堂下」，简称官仁。[1]

建国初期，领导土地改革的乡政府就设在官仁堂下的喜新楼里，乡名定为官仁。1958年改作官仁大队，1983年恢复为乡，之后1987年设村民委员会，1989年称管理区，1999年起用现名官仁村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

油茶是官仁村的主打产业：2020年8月，它进入首批省级「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单；同年11月，农业农村部把它列为第十批全国一村一品示范村镇。[1]

此后，官仁村又陆续得到几项认定：2022年初，省乡村振兴局将其纳入2021年度乡村治理示范村的创建名单；2022年10月，它获全国示范性老年友好型社区称号；2024年1月，入选广东省2023年度民主法治示范村（社区）；2026年1月，成为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
