差干村在平远县差干镇中西部，分7个村民小组，是镇内人口最多的村：博雅地名网登载524户、2095人，总面积16.6平方千米，耕地2718亩。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村名有三种说法。其一，地势南北短、东西长，像一根秤杆，人说“秤杆秤杆，相差若干”；其二，沿河装有水车引水灌田，“车”“灌”与“差干”读音相近；其三，村人世代好学，外出办差的多，旧时在官府当差的人做事干净利落、少出差错，故称差干。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

古时的差干村，是上坊村的上村、下村，加上下坊村的筀竹坝、杞溪角、罗车的合称。1949年为差干乡；其后依次改为生产大队（1958年起）、小乡（1983年）、村民委员会（1987年）、管理区（1989年），1999年4月定为差干村民委员会。[3]

经济[edit]

村里种烤烟、甜玉米、仙人草和梅菜，烤烟与梅菜是特色收入；上一年农村经济总收入1659万元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年3月，差干村入选「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
