湍溪村在平远县差干镇东部，分8个村民小组，是镇内总面积最大的村：博雅地名网登载288户、1328人，总面积18.7平方千米，耕地1039亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
湍溪自1958年设生产大队起，依次改为小乡（1983年）、村民委员会（1987年）、管理区（1989年），1999年4月定为湍溪村民委员会。[2]
经济[edit]
村里的作物有仙人草、木材和绿竹，仙人草、绿竹是特色收入；上一年农村经济总收入1352万元。[1]2019年9月，湍溪村进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
