南中村是广东省梅州市五华县龙村镇下辖的行政村，村址在硝芳圩往东3公里处。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

关于村名，博雅地名网的说法是：村在南洞村的一条山洞中段，故称南中。[1]

建置方面：解放初归龙村区，1953年起属龙村乡；1958年为龙村公社南洞村的一部分；1961年硝芳公社成立后单列为南中村，1984年称硝芳镇南中管理区，1999年成南中村委会；2004年硝芳并入龙村镇，南中随之改属龙村镇。[1]
