南洞村是广东省梅州市五华县龙村镇下辖的行政村，村址在硝芳圩往东4公里处。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

关于村名，博雅地名网的说法是：客家话称山谷为「洞」，村的南面山谷很多，故称南洞。[1]

建置方面：新中国成立之初为南洞乡，1958年人民公社化时设南洞大队，1983年复为乡政府，1989年改称管理区，1999年起为南洞村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

全村辖16个村民小组，总面积7.73平方公里，耕地965亩。[1]
