历史沿革[edit]
关于村名，博雅地名网的说法是：村庄处于湖中、湖东等一带的中心位置，故称湖中。[1]
建置方面：新中国成立之初为湖中乡，1958年人民公社化时设湖中大队，1983年复为乡政府，1989年改称管理区，1999年起为湖中村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
