大嵩村属梅州市五华县河东镇管辖，是镇内的一个行政村[1]。博雅地名网所载村情介绍（未注年份）称，该村分13个村民小组，在册668户，人口3273人，耕地约1859亩[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

大嵩的沿革较长。1952年它属五华县九区；2004年起，它成为河东镇的大嵩村民委员会。其间：1958年隶属油田人民公社的大双大队，1961年归油田大队，1978年单设大嵩大队，1983年是油田区公所辖下的大嵩乡，1989年成为油田乡大嵩村、大嵩管理区，1999年为油田镇大嵩村。[1]

  • 2019年9月列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]
