油田村属梅州市五华县河东镇管辖，是镇内的一个行政村[1]。博雅地名网所载村情介绍（未注年份）称，该村分10个村民小组，在册592户，人口2983人，耕地约1800亩[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

据村情介绍，油田村在1949年称乡，1958年成立生产大队，1983年改为乡政府，1989年改称管理区，1999年起设村民委员会至今。[1]
