苑堂村属梅州市五华县河东镇管辖，是镇内的一个行政村[1]。博雅地名网所载村情介绍（未注年份）称，该村分9个村民小组，在册458户，耕地约1813亩[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

据村情介绍，约1958年苑堂属水寨公社苑河大队，约1978年成为水寨公社下的苑堂大队，约1988年为河东公社苑堂管理区，1999年起为河东镇苑堂村民委员会。[1]
