创乐村属广东省梅州市梅县区白渡镇，是镇下的行政村，清代诗人、书法家宋湘的故里，村内有省级文物保护单位宋湘故居。村子入选第一批“广东名镇名村”评选的“广东名村”，又在2026年3月被列为广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来自校名。旧时此地有创兆、乐群两所学校：创兆学校据说是1904年丘逢甲亲自督办的，乐群学校的名称则取自宋湘在惠州丰湖书院所办的乐群堂，用以纪念他。两校后合并为创乐学校，校址设在原创兆学校，村亦因此称创乐。[1]

明代属程乡县龟浆都；1633年（崇祯六年）设镇平县（今蕉岭）时划归镇平县，1711年（康熙五十年）复归程乡县上半图。1941年属梅县白渡乡，1950年归白渡区，1958年为白渡公社创乐大队，后在1989年改为管理区，1999年成立村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

宋湘故居又名太史第，位于村内象湖，1987年定为县级文物保护单位，2012年10月20日由广东省人民政府公布，属第七批省级文物保护单位。百度百科称它据称1669年（康熙八年）动工，占地2600平方米上下，是三进三堂的客家民居，主屋之外左右各有一排横屋；博雅地名网则称建于明嘉靖年间，两说不一。[3][4][5]

经济[edit]

近年村里把撂荒耕地集中起来，办起蔬菜种植基地和“毛豆加广地龙”种养基地。村内建有宋湘纪念公园。[3]
