嶂下村是梅州市梅江区西阳镇所辖的一个行政村。村在明山嶂山脚下，故名嶂下。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，嶂下大队成立，归梅县西阳公社；1960年白宫另置公社，该大队改隶白宫公社，同年与明山大队合并为嶂明大队，1968年又分开。1983年改称嶂下乡，隶梅县市白宫区；1986年设村民委员会，1989年易名嶂下管理区，归梅县市白宫镇；1998年再改称嶂下村委会。2003年白宫镇并入西阳镇，该村随之划归西阳镇；2012年划归梅江区。[1]

  • 2019年9月，嶂下村名列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
