1984年改乡时并入西埔乡，1987年2月独立设村民委员会，其后经管理区阶段，到1999年4月定名为石龙头村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

广东省爱卫会2021年12月授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
