历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网说，村中曾有一根黄色的竹子，笔直向上，原称「黄竹望」，客家话中「望」与「浪」音近，后写作黄竹浪[1]。村内1939年建立地下党组织，成立党支部，抗日战争和解放战争时期都有贡献[1]。黄竹浪大队设于1958年；1984年与小禾洞、大禾洞组成竹和乡；1987年3月设村委会，1988年起称管理区，1999年复称村委会[1]。
