星湖村是惠东县梁化镇所辖的行政村，村名取自山小湖多、点缀如星的地貌。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网说，此地山不高，小湖交错，像星星点缀，故名星湖[1]。1951年12月，这里是惠阳县第十五区（区府设在梁化镇）的星湖小乡；1957年12月并入梁化乡，次年称星湖大队[1]。1984年，星湖与七星墩、水联三地并为星湖乡；1987年3月起设星湖村委，90年代称管理区，1998年起称星湖村民委员会[1]。
