地名由来[edit]

据说一千多年前有几户人家从福建漳州龙溪村迁来，原名莲湖村；村前湖塘边长着一株白木莲，遂改称白莲湖。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立后先在一区苏礼龙乡，1958年组建白莲湖大队，1983年改乡，1986年改管理区，1999年起为村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，村里获评「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
