湖头村是惠州市博罗县龙溪街道下辖的行政村，在城乡分类中属村庄。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据传黄姓人家住在一个大湖的东边，当地习惯以东为头、以西为尾，所以叫湖头。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时期归典史署，民国时期属第十一区英勇乡，新中国成立后属一区苏礼龙乡，1956年11月起并入苏村乡。1958年10月起为湖头大队，1983年11月起改称乡，1986年1月起叫管理区，1999年起改为湖头村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，村里获评「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
