长湖村是惠州市博罗县龙溪街道下辖的行政村，在城乡分类中属镇乡结合区。[1]

地名由来[edit]

嘉庆年间建村，村前有一条天然形成、长约二千米的长沥，旁边还有大湖，故称长湖沥。到1999年3月，行政村与自然村长湖沥重名，撤区改村时遂改称长湖村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期归典史署；民国时期属第十三区忠勇乡；新中国成立后属一区苏礼龙乡，1956年11月起并入苏村乡。1958年10月起为长湖沥大队，1983年11月起改称乡，1986年11月起叫管理区，1999年改称长湖村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年8月，列为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2019年9月，进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
