园岭社区在惠州市惠城区江南街道，居委会安置在园岭东路附近，社区因此得名；1993年8月成立，经江南街道办事处提出命名申请、惠城区人民政府批准，2007年8月设立社区工作站[1][2]。

社区概况[edit]

辖区1.83平方千米，登记户籍3150户、8724人，外来流动人口4170人；道路5条、巷4条；住宅小区中8个由物业管理，3个由单位自管；学校有1所中学、2所小学，另有3所幼儿园和1间社区卫生服务所[2]。社区在区残联支持下，把一间约50平方米的旧办公室改建为残疾人康复中心，并设有面向妇女的“姐妹谈心室”[2]。

2008年社区被广东省政府评为“六好平安和谐社区”，并获惠城区妇联“巾帼文明岗”等称号；2022年1月被评为惠州市2021年度绿色社区[1][2]。
