历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网记载，最早可查到隋代，这里归善县管辖。民国时期先后划入惠阳县的第一区（1931年）和共和乡（1937年）；新中国成立后，1950年归环城乡，1958年底编入惠环公社，1964年起在惠州市的惠环公社（后为惠环镇）辖内，直到1993年9月。1993年10月划归惠城区江南街道，为下角行政村，1999年起称下角村委会[1]。
经济[edit]
村地处城乡结合部，土地大量被征用，2008年前后仅有耕地725亩（菜地225亩、鱼塘350亩、山塘150亩），另有山林6000亩；无特色主导产业，收入主要来自出租房屋。2008年村委会集体经济收入430万元，8个村民小组的集体经济收入152万元，村集体企业股份每股分红1100元[2]。下角村在阿里研究院2020年、2021年和2022年公布的淘宝村名单中均有名[1]。
