历史沿革[edit]
村子最初叫辣村，后因村边有一棵大栗树改称栗村。解放前属西河乡，1953年划入第四区栗村小乡，1957年划归武垄大乡，1958年并入东风人民公社，1961年编为栗村大队，1983年设栗村乡政府，1989年称栗村管理区，1998年起称栗村村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
村离武垄圩镇约3公里，山上养山地鸡，水田种贡柑、沙糖桔、玉桂、佛手和水稻。[1] 2019年9月，村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
