谭英村是怀集县大岗镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西部，距镇中心约1.5公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年设谭英大队，1983年改乡，1987年称村委会，1989年称管理区；1998年11月，县政府以怀发〔1998〕20号文批准设立村民委员会。村名取自谭屋村与集英村合并时各取的一个字。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

总面积10平方公里，耕地1395亩、山地3505亩，设21个村民小组，丘陵和旱地较多。[1]

人口民族[edit]

经济[edit]

该村农业条件较好，是大岗镇农林产业的主要基地之一，办有全镇规模最大的糖蔗和沙糖桔示范基地；2008年下寨创建为省级卫生村。2021年9月，广东省农业农村厅公布的第二批省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单中，谭英村以大蜜李入选。[1]
