河南社区是广东省肇庆市怀集县幸福街道辖下的社区，位于县城绥江南岸，与北岸的县城隔江相望。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

社区在绥江以南，名称由此而来。[1]1917年（民国6年）已有河南团、河南街之称，1948年设河南乡，当地习称“河南江”。1970年以前，这里和文化、永安、永光三地同属城关大队，1971年独立为河南大队；1983年为管理区，1996年称居委会，1999年起称河南社区居民委员会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

社区总人口8608人（1680户），下设6个居民小组。随着县城扩大，土地不断被征用，耕地只剩60多亩。居民多经营商店、旅店、饮食服务、摊档、运输和建筑等行业；社会总产值（2009年）2070.5万元，居民人均收入6269元。[1]
