木格社区是木格镇政府驻地所在的社区，居委会设在木格圩，下辖18个村民小组，615户，899人，耕地1253亩、山林28351亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据传明代（博雅地名网写作“咸化”年间，即1465至1487年）靠近隔坑寨的河边，商铺排成方格形，叫木格铺；到清道光时长成木格圩，社区名由此而来。[1]清道光年间这里属森洞铺，1937年分属青阳乡、青云乡。建国后依次是木格生产大队（1958年）、村委会（1983年）、管理区（1987年）、村民委员会（1998年12月）；2005年，原木格村委会、石台村委会和木格居委会并成一个社区居委会，至今未变。[1]
经济[edit]
社区发展沙糖桔、茶杆竹和尾叶桉种植。[1]木格社区以黄沙鳖入选广东省农业农村厅2020年8月公布的首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，又在2019年9月被列为2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
