潭布社区是广东省肇庆市广宁县潭布镇政府驻地所在的社区，面积6.42平方公里，设42个村民小组。博雅地名网称它是全镇人口最多的单位，总人口6143人，农业人口4357人，非农业人口1786人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

道光年间属拆石铺，民国时在荆平乡，建国初归潭布乡。1958年设潭布生产大队，1984年同田头坑大队合并设乡政府；1987年称村民委员会，次年在圩上另设居委会办事处；1989年叫管理区，1999年为居委会，2004年两者合并，成立潭布社区居民委员会。[2] 博雅地名网的社区页另记，社区是2005年撒并村时由田头坑村、岩头村和潭布居委会三个单位合并而成，两处所记年份不一。[1]

经济[edit]

社区位于圩镇，当地以种养为主，尤其是农副产品流通行业较活跃，人均年收入居全镇之首。[1] 2019年9月，社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
