赤水塘社区（赤水塘村）在肇庆市高要区回龙镇镇中心区，2013年由村委会改为居委会[1]。

概况[edit]

全村面积1.02平方千米，分5个村民小组，共178户、620人，耕地450亩。村集体靠邻近镇区的位置，在镇区及肇江公路沿线建商铺，发展第三产业[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期归高要三区（此前属高要五区）。1955年为赤水塘社；1958年同大塘边社并成水塘大队，归金龙公社；翌年转入回龙公社。此后大队撤销、改设为乡；到1987年改设村委会；1989年另分出赤水塘、大塘边两个管理区，1998年改村民委员会，2013年改居委会[1]。2019年9月入选「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」[1]。
