大塘边村是肇庆市高要区回龙镇的行政村，在肇江公路旁，2019年9月入选「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」[1]。
概况[edit]
全村面积1.28平方千米，设6个村民小组，205户、717人，耕地550亩，山地118亩。村里扶持养鹅、养鸡、养鱼专业户，并通过发包土地、建商铺增加集体收入[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期归高要三区（此前属高要五区）。1955年为大塘边社；1958年同赤水塘社并成赤水塘大队，归金龙公社；1959年起转入回龙公社，1983年设乡，1987年设村委会，1989年分设大塘边、赤水塘两个管理区，1998年改大塘边村民委员会[1]。
