大白村是肇庆市高要区小湘镇辖下的行政村，地处小湘镇北部、石笋公路旁，占地约16平方千米，分16个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

大白村在1975年前隶属禄步公社，是其下的大白村大队；1975年笋围公社成立后划入该公社，名称不变。其后改制依次是：1986年定名大白村村委会（此前的1983年称乡），1989年又改设管理处，1998年撤销管理区，重新设村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载村情，大白村有585户、2214人。耕地917亩、山地18000亩，距镇城区约13公里。农户种肉桂和水稻；村级集体经济收入不足三万元，被镇里列为六个贫困村之一。[1]
