后沥社区在广东省肇庆市鼎湖区坑口街道西南部，南临西江，北靠鼎湖山，辖4条自然村、6个经济社。[1]明嘉靖年间（1522～1566年），黄姓族人从金利三甲迁来建村。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年以前后沥隶高要县第一区，1953年改归第八区，1955年起在广利区文园乡；后沥在1959年为广利人民公社的南股大队；1961年起一度划给水上人民公社，1972年复归广利。[2]1983年4月设后沥乡，归广利区公所管；1986年改为村委会，隶广利镇，1989年3月又称管理区。1992年12月编入坑口街道办事处，成为后沥居民委员会，2002年4月再改称社区居民委员会。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

社区共986人，每年经济收入90万元；农业有水稻、鱼塘、蔬菜和养猪；河鲜酒楼是社区的特色行业。[1]
