罗隐社区在广东省肇庆市鼎湖区坑口街道南部，临西江，辖9条自然村、8个经济社，鼎湖山下院在其境内。[1]村名来自罗隐涌，传说古代有名叫罗隐的人生于此地宁塘水口。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明初，李氏族人从南雄迁来建村；清嘉庆年间（1796～1820年），陈世荣从水坑迁来，两族合为一村。[1][2]罗隐在1959年为广利人民公社的东股大队；1961年起一度划给水上人民公社，1972年复归广利；1983年4月设罗隐乡，归广利区公所管；1986年改为村委会，隶广利镇；1989年又称管理区。[2]1992年12月，罗隐脱离广利，编入坑口街道办事处，成为罗隐居民委员会，2002年4月再改称社区居民委员会。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

社区共1150人，集体每年收入150万元；辖区有12栋招商厂房、约200亩水田和约300亩鱼塘。[1]辖区内有一所小学，以及多家酒楼和裹蒸企业。[1]
