苏村社区在广东省肇庆市鼎湖区坑口街道西侧，与端州区黄岗镇交界，面积4.5平方千米。村子在1854年（清咸丰四年）以前已经建成，居民有苏、冯、谭等姓，以苏姓最多，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年以前，苏村隶高要县第一区，1953年改归第八区，1955年起在广利区文园乡；人民公社时期先属广利人民公社一团，后成为公社的一个大队。[1]1961年4月，该村脱离广利、改隶肇庆市；1988年4月转入鼎湖区，当时叫苏村村委会，由坑口管理区办事处管理。[1]此后名称两次变动：1992年12月为苏村居民委员会（归坑口街道），2002年4月为苏村社区居民委员会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
社区下有2条自然村和6个经济社，人口1200多。农业方面有水稻、鱼塘、蔬菜种植和养猪；近年社区引进数家企业，发展二、三产业，辖区内有汽车驾驶训练基地。[1]下湾水库和观光果场是社区内的景观。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，苏村社区列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」；2024年1月，被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
