北岸社区是化州市河西街道的城乡结合型社区，在罗江北岸，前身是北岸村，2003年名称经规范后叫北岸居委会，2017年起为社区居民委员会。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区大体在罗江以北，前身是北岸村，沿用其专名得名。[1]化州市人民政府在2003年将居委会的名称规范为北岸，2017年起为社区居民委员会。[1]2024年1月，从北岸社区析置出增塘社区。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

社区分25个村民小组，登记在册2745户、10970人；总面积1794.9亩，其中耕地423.6亩，主要作物是橘红。[3]社区修建了4条自然村的硬底化水泥路共8公里，在化合线装了1公里路灯，投资近百万元建了三鸟批发市场，并与开发商合作建成一幢13层楼房，首层的所有权和收益权归社区集体。[3]
