合垌村位于广东省茂名市高州市长坡镇，属镇下辖的村民委员会[1]。传说此处有一块形似青蛙的石头，石前水潭很深，当地人称青蛙为“蛤”，故先叫蛤垌，后改为合垌。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据地名志类资料，自1961年起，由银坑大队分立；1963年至1968年划入东河大队；1979年又从东河大队分立，重立合垌大队。1983年起称乡，1986年称农村管理区，1999年后为村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号[1]
  • 2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单」[1]
