长坡社区是长坡镇的镇中心区，居民委员会设于1994年，镇政府驻此[1]。社区因设在长坡圩而得名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

长坡镇原称石骨乡，1953年改称石骨墟，当时石坟也在其内；1958年11月改称长坡公社；1961年5月设长坡区，辖长坡、石坟两个公社；1988年撤区设镇后，长坡区公所改为长坡镇，石坟区公所先后改为石坟乡、石龙镇[1]。长坡镇居民委员会成立于1994年；2003年9月5日石龙镇撤销、并入长坡镇，居民委员会改称长坡社区居民委员会[1]。
