良文塘村在石鼓镇西南，原属祥山镇祥山社区的良文塘管理区，距高州市区约40公里[1][2]。

名称由来[edit]

村名按族派命名，最初由良塘迁来，后来加了一个“文”字，成为良文塘[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年与林坑并为良文塘大队，1961年林坑分出，良文塘仍为大队；此后1983年成良文塘乡，1986年成农村管理区，1999年起称良文塘村民委员会[1]。

经济[edit]

百度百科称，截至2018年人口1000多人，全为汉族，以农业和养殖业为主，特产有荔枝、龙眼、芒果、大树菠萝和糍粑。2022年建成占地300亩的蛋鸡养殖基地，并推进撂荒耕地复耕[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，良文塘村获2021年广东省卫生村称号；2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单[1]。
