石鼓村是石鼓镇的行政村，与镇同名。村名来自村西南的一座石山，用石头敲击会发出鼓一样的声音[1]。
名称由来[edit]
村子西南有块石山，用石头撞它，会发出咚咚的响声，像敲鼓，因而称石鼓。镇名的来历与此相近[1][2]。
历史沿革[edit]
1963年，新陂坦大队与石鼓大队合并为石鼓大队；此后1983年成石鼓乡，1986年成农村管理区，1999年起称石鼓村民委员会[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月，石鼓村获广东省爱卫会授予2021年广东省卫生村称号[1]。
