村名取自中心村林坑[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1960年与良文塘大队划分，以林坑村为中心成立林坑大队；此后1983年成林坑乡，1986年成农村管理区，1999年起称林坑村民委员会[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，林坑村获2021年广东省卫生村称号；2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单[1]。
