原来村庄前方有一大片坡地，故称门前坡[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1963年，原前坡、天津塘两个大队合并为门前坡大队；此后1983年成门前坡乡，1986年成农村管理区，1999年起称门前坡村民委员会[1]。

据百度百科，村域面积4.36平方千米，在册1010户、4490人[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，门前坡村获广东省爱卫会授予2021年广东省卫生村称号[1]。
