大治堂村位于石鼓镇南面，属镇乡结合区，因村委会设在大治堂自然村而得名；共17个村民小组，户籍人口3388人[1][2]。

名称由来[edit]

村民委员会所在的自然村叫大治堂，村以此为名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1963年，箩塘大队与大治堂大队合并为大治堂大队；此后1983年成乡，1986年成农村管理区，1999年起称大治堂村民委员会[1]。

经济[edit]

百度百科记载，村有耕地2780亩，种植业占经济总收入的86%，主要种花生、玉米；2023年农村经济总收入达8260万元。同年，因省道S282线改建，部分经济合作社的土地被征收[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，大治堂村获广东省爱卫会授予2021年广东省卫生村称号[1]。
