含屋村在茂名市高州市的镇江镇境内，是该镇的一个村民委员会。村前小溪中有一处落差较大的深涡，常年发出类似凤鸡啼叫的水声，旧称“凤鸡屋”；又因四周群山环抱，当地称这种地形为“含包”，后改称含屋。[1]

据博雅地名网所载沿革，该村1961年起称含屋大队，1983年设含屋乡，1986年又称含屋农村管理区，至1999年组建村民委员会，名称延用到现在。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月获广东省爱卫会授予“2021年广东省卫生村”称号；被列为广东省2018年度民主法治示范村（社区）的创建对象（2019年9月公布）。[1]
