丰文垌村隶属广东省茂名市高州市的云潭镇，地处镇东南部，村名据传由“丰银垌”谐音而来。[1][2]

名称由来[edit]

博雅地名网记述的传说是：村民初来定居时，从外地请泥水匠建房，次日清晨匠人发现地下埋着一口银缸，被牛脚踩出了洞，便悄悄取了两元，用泥封住，打算夜里再来挖，夜里却再找不到那处地方，于是这里叫作“丰银垌”，后来谐音改为“丰文垌”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地原归丽珠乡管，1960年建大队，以自然村名为队名，1983年起称丰文垌乡，1986年又变为农村管理区，1999年定名为丰文垌村民委员会，此名用到现在。[1]

百度百科记载，全村辖11个村民小组，439户，人口2047人（该词条未注明年份），总面积3.4平方千米，耕地1039亩。[2]农业以水稻、四季豆、龙眼为主，龙眼为特色农产品；村里建有140亩千禧果基地，2016至2019年间它是省定贫困村，珠海高栏港经济区对口帮扶，39户贫困户在此期间全部脱贫。[2]
