种植的作物主要是荔枝、龙眼、水稻、四季豆、红辣椒、首乌。发展思路为：以农业、养殖业为主，种植四季豆、辣椒、首乌，也养龟、养猪、养鱼。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年时叫田面乡；1958年时叫田面生产大队；1983年又叫田面乡；1987年时叫田面村委会；1989年时叫田面管理区；1999年起叫田面村委会；沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

广东省农业农村厅2021年9月公布的第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村中，有田面村（产业为沉香）。[1]

田面村在2019年10月入选「2019年广东省卫生村」名录。[1]
