高地社区是电白区高地街道的社区，街道办事处驻此，位于旧广湛路的高地市场一带[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

社区得名于高地村[1]。高地大队于1960年从镇西乡划出；此后1983年改乡，1987年成立村委会，1989年改管理区，1999年回到村委会建制，2002年起转为社区居委会[1]。

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网，辖18个村民小组，在册1275户、7115人，总面积3.75平方千米，耕地92亩[1]。主要经济作物有荔枝和蔬菜；电器加工、五金是特色收入来源，社区有电器工厂34间[1]。年均气温26摄氏度，年降水量约1516毫米[1]。2019年9月，上榜2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
