历史沿革[edit]
里屋在1950年属黄坡第六区，设行政村；其后先后隶属林屋小乡、林屋大队、川西小公社，1964年自立为大队，1975年划入中山公社。1983年设乡民委员会，1987年改称村民委员会，1999年定名里屋村委会[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，里屋村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2021年1月，入选「湛江市2020年度全市文明村」名单[1]。
