唐基村是黄坡镇西南部的行政村，辖唐基、山口两个自然村，2025年被命名为「第七届全国文明村镇」[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

唐基在1950年属于黄坡第六区，隶属中山行政村；1958年自立大队，其后改乡、设村委会、称管区，1999年起定名唐基村委会[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2022年1月，唐基村被省乡村振兴局列为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2023年11月，入选「广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村」；2024年4月，入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单；2025年3月，被命名为「第七届全国文明村镇」[1]。

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网，村域5.35平方公里，耕地1750亩，党员140人；唐基自然村1121户、4680人，山口自然村83户、328人。S081省道和373乡道从村境穿过。村民集资入股，办起了吴川市第一个股份制的综合市场，村干部又筹资筹劳新建了振兴公园、大宗广场等景点；湛江市把该村列为公共服务均等化示范村[2]。
