历史沿革[edit]

1952年设马兆行政村，1957至1958年隶属枚陈乡，1964年成立马兆大队。1978年与马容分设为两个大队，1981年又合为马兆大队；1983年改称马兆乡，1985年成立村委会，1989年设管理区办事处，1999年复称村委会[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，马兆村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2022年9月，被认定为「2022年湛江市文明村」[1]。
