鉴东村是长岐镇下辖的行政村，自然村有山仪、邱屋、车田、竹华，在吴川市区以北约3公里的鉴江下游东岸，面积约2.5平方公里，常住人口6227人[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

因地处鉴江东面而得名；2003年，从肖山村委会分出，另设鉴东村委会[1]。

经济与荣誉[edit]

村委会离梅化公路不远，西边就是鉴江，陆路水路都通；民营企业里有一家麻绳厂[1]。2021年1月，该村被评为「湛江市2020年度全市文明村」；2019年9月，被列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」[1]。
