梅山社区是广东省湛江市吴川市梅菉街道下辖的社区。名称来历：居委会设在岭坡下，岭名梅山，因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

梅山居委会成立于1999年，此前是1983年设的梅山管理区，更早的1953年叫山脚大队。[1]

概况[edit]

梅山社区在吴川市城区东北，成立于1958年，面积约1平方千米，设4个居民小组，有523户2536人。[1] 社区是粤西塑料鞋生产和销售的集散地之一，有塑鞋厂65间。[1]

社区的民间艺术有舞狮、地色、八音和锣鼓；曾被评为湛江市文明社区。[1]

2019年9月，该社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
