历史沿革[edit]

田东在1950年随花桥圩设田东大队，1961年归花桥公社；1963年并入塘头大队，1981年重新分出为田东大队；1983年，田东与大东两个大队合并，成立花桥乡；1987年2月设田东村委会，1999年成立村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2020年8月，田东村以蔬菜入选农业农村厅公布的首批「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」。[1]
  • 在2019年9月公布的名单中，它是「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」之一。[1]
